Intersteno ECQA certification
Be the first to qualify as an international professional

During the last years, Intersteno has worked hard on an international certification that could attest professional competencies. Thanks to the involvement in the European project LTA (https://ltaproject.eu/) and the collaboration with the European Certification and Qualification Association ECQA (https://www.jobcertification.eu/), we are proud to announce that we are now capable of offering a certification session for live captioners at the upcoming 53rd Intersteno Congress 2022 in Maastricht.

On August 10th, between 8am and 11am, we will run a certification session in the premises of the Congress venue. The session will be organised as follows:

• a multiple-choice test proving the candidate knows the different aspects of the profession (https://ecqa.bizexaminer.com/exam/index/index/dl/1/u/ECQA_Test2/p/test1234);
• a speech-to-text test that proves candidates manage to transcribe a speech word for word with a given accuracy at a given speed (http://reachmars.eu/)
• a 15-minute conversation with the certification committee during which the candidate illustrates some aspects of the profession.
